மீண்டும் மீண்டும் ஏன் அழவேண்டும்?

A wise man joke 

 A wise man once sat in the audience and cracked a joke..
all of them laughed like crazy
After a moment he cracked the same joke again &
a little less people laughed this time...

He cracked the same one again and no one laughed,
Then he smiled and said
"when you can’t laugh on the same joke again and again
then why do you keep crying over the same thing over and over again".
Forget the past and MOVE ON!

How Old Are You?

  வயது ஒரு வரம்பல்ல. 

     ராஜாஜி, 'சக்கரவர்த்தி திருமக'னைதனது  75 வது வயதில் எழுதினார்.

     ஜியார்ஜ் பர்ன்ஸ் என்ற அமெரிக்க நகைச்சுவை நடிகர், லண்டனில் தனது 100-வது பிறந்த தினத்தன்று நகைச்சுவை நிகழ்ச்சி நடத்த  பிக்கடல்லியில் அரங்கத்தை பதிவு செய்து வைத்திருந்தார். ( துரதிர்ஷ்டம் அதற்கு  சுமார் ஒரு மாதத்திற்கு முன்பு காலமாகிவிட்டார்.)

   வில் டூரண்ட் , பதினோரு  தொகுதி புத்தகத்தை (STORY OF CIVILISATION) எழுதி முடித்தபோது அவருக்கு வயது 90. 

    அமெரிக்காவின் பிபல செயின் ஸ்டோரா ன ’கே- மார்ட்’டை,  எச்.எச். க்ரெஸ்கே 1962-ல் துவக்கியபோது அவருக்கு வயது 95. ( இன்று  அதற்குக் கிளைகள் 1300 க்கு மேல் உள்ளன!)

 How Old Are You?

Age is a quality of mind.

If you have left your dreams behind,

If hope is cold,

If you no longer look ahead 

If your ambitions’ fires are dead –

Then you are old.

But if from life you take the best,

And if in life you keep the jest,

If love you hold;

No matter how the years go by,

No matter how birthdays fly –

You are not old.
